Privacy policy
Who we are
YourBox isn't incorporated yet. It's run by its founder, Muhammad Sarim, who is responsible for the information described here. In this policy, "we" means YourBox and its founder. You can reach us at hello@yourbox.ai.
When a company takes over YourBox, we'll update this policy and let people on the early access list know.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you request early access. The service that receives the form also records technical details of the submission, such as your IP address and browser, to filter spam.
- What you send us, if you email us or talk with us as a design partner.
- Request logs, kept by our hosting provider when you visit: IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These are used for security and reliability.
- Visit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics, such as which pages are viewed and which sites sent visitors. It doesn't use cookies or local storage, and it doesn't identify you or follow you across websites.
Cookies
We don't use cookies for analytics or advertising. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary cookie if it needs to check that a visitor isn't an automated bot.
How we use it
- To contact you about early access and, if you become a design partner, to work with you on setup and feedback.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the site.
We don't sell your information, share it for advertising, or use it for anything unrelated to these purposes.
Legal bases
If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on:
- your consent when you request early access, which you can withdraw at any time;
- our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure and understanding how it's used;
- taking steps you've asked for, such as replying to your email.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for the purposes above:
- Cloudflare for hosting, security, and analytics
- Formspree to receive early access sign-ups
- Our email provider to send and receive email
We may also disclose information when the law requires it. These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Early access sign-ups: until you ask us to delete your email or early access ends, whichever comes first.
- Emails with us: as long as we need them to follow up with you.
- Request logs and analytics: for the limited periods Cloudflare sets.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export, or delete the information we have about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@yourbox.ai. We'll respond within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for asking. Every email we send includes a way to stop receiving them.
If you're in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is for people evaluating developer tools for work. It isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For significant changes, we'll also email people on the early access list.
